What is Zoho Meeting?

Zoho Meeting is an online service which empowers you to meet online and collaborate with your remote audience. You can organize sales and marketing presentations, host product demos, and conduct online training for your customers.You can host web meetings and share presentations to a larger remote audience instantly.

How does Zoho Meeting work?

Zoho Meeting runs a desktop plugin, powered with a toolbar at the presenter end. It enables to share the desktop of the presenter. A viewer will be opened in the attendee end which allows the users to view the presenter's desktop.

What are the system requirements for using Zoho Meeting?

Operating SystemWindows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista / Mac (all versions) / Linux (All versions)

Is it possible to conduct meeting between different operating systems?

Yes. Meetings are possible between any combination of operating Systems at the remote ends (Windows - Mac, Linux - Windows, Linux - Mac)

Can I conduct meeting in a firewall/proxy configured network?

Yes. Zoho Meeting works well behind the firewall/proxies. The user must enter the web proxy credentials whenever asked for.

How to check whether VOIP is enabled for my meeting participants?

VOIP is enabled by default. If it's not working, please check with the following steps.

  1. Please log-in to http://meeting.zoho.com/ and click on Settings tab.
  2. Turn "Enable VOIP (Beta)"to 'Yes'. (Only if it's 'No', as by default it will be 'Yes'.)
  3. Click 'Save'.
  4. Create a test meeting, enabling audio conference (Zoho Audio) and check out the VOIP feature.
  5. If it's still not working, do drop a mail at support@zohomeeting.com. 
VOIP is currently enabled along with Audio conferencing, i.e. When you create a Meeting, you will get an option to choose your Audio conferencing. When you choose "Zoho Audio", we reserve a number and a PIN for you and send the Audio details along with the Meeting Invites. Participants can either dial-in using that number or use VOIP.For best results/performance, we recommend that the Meeting Presenter to dial in using the given dial in number and PIN. Participants can join using VOIP, or through telephone. Please note that the feature is currently in BETA.

How do I start an instant meeting?

Login to your Zoho Meeting account and you will see 'Meet Now' link at the right of the page. Click on the link to start an instant meeting. You can invite participants for that meeting from the presenter toolbar or the meeting details web page.

How do I schedule a meeting?

Login to Zoho Meeting from web page or desktop plugin. Click on the 'Meetings' tab and then'Create Meeting' tab. Please provide the required details like, Meeting topic, Agenda, Participants mail ids, scheduled time and audio conferencing. Click on 'Create' button to start/schedule a meeting.

Is it possible to resume my previous session?

Yes. You can resume your previous meeting session by clicking the resume last session from the desktop plugin (Windows only).

When I click on start meeting, it is not started. How can i start the meeting?

If you face problems in starting a meeting from the web page, please click on 'run this exe'link and run the .exe downloaded to start the meeting.

How do I join a meeting?

You can easily join meeting by using following steps.

1. Go to http://join.zoho.com

2. Provide the Meeting Key and click on Join Session.

You can also join a meeting by clicking the join link in the meeting invitation mail sen to you by the presenter.

Do I need a Zoho Meeting account to attend a meeting?

No. You do not need a Zoho Meeting account to attend/join a meeting. You can join the meeting by clicking the link on the meeting invitation mail or using the 'Join Meeting Session'button in the Zoho Meeting home page.

Do I need to install any software prior to attend a meeting?

You do not need to install any software to join a meeting. Once you click on the Join button, it will automatically connect to the meeting. The viewer can be selected or the session will use the default viewer.

I started the meeting already. How can I invite a new participant to that meeting?

You can invite a participant from the presenter toolbar or from the meeting details web page, even after the meeting has been started.

My attendee did not receive the meeting invitation mail. How can he/she join the meeting?

Your attendee can join the meeting by providing the Meeting Key in the linkhttp://join.zoho.com

Can I use IM chat to send the meeting key to my attendee?

Yes. You can use instant messaging chats to send the meeting key or join link to your attendee and ask him/her to join your meeting.

How do I purchase a Zoho Meeting plan?

Please go to the pricing page. Choose your plan and click subscribe. You can also choose the plan after logging in, by clicking the 'Subscribe Now' link at the right side.

How can I change my plan?

You can change your subscribed plan by clicking on the 'Manage Subscription' link at the right, after logging in to Zoho Meeting.

What charges will be applied if I change my plan?

Charges for the new plan will be taken exempting the previous plan charges.

How can I update my credit card details?

You can update your credit card details using the 'Update credit card details' tab in 'Manage Subscription' page.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Please go to 'Manage Subscription' page and click on 'Downgrade to Free' button to cancel your subscription.

How can I subscribe for a trial version?

Please go to the Zoho Meeting pricing page and click on the '30-days Free Trial' button at the right side, to subscribe for a free trial version.

Will there be any receipt for the purchase?

Yes. You will receive your billing receipt to your email.
